Ginger tea can be equally helpful as it has analgesic properties and pain-relieving effects. To make this tea, add grated ginger to the boiling water, and let it simmer for twenty minutes. Then strain it and serve with honey or lemon. For chills, drink warm water or a bowl of soup to keep yourself warm and hydrated.
